On June 28, 2025, the PZL M18 А “Dromader” aircraft, registration marks LZ-DRB, performed an agricultural flight (fertilization of rice crops with urea) from the Benkovski airfield. Two minutes after take-off, at about 03:32 UTC, at an altitude of 50...60 m, the engine shut down by itself, so the pilot performed a forced landing on a site selected from the air, a sunflower field. The aircraft touched down in a concrete groove turned and stopped in the field. The pilot evacuated from the cabin without injury. As a result of the impact, the aircraft was destroyed.
