On July 6, 2024 a Cessna 182P aircraft with registration LZ-SDB performs a flight from LBSB airport for parachute operations skydiving. At about 05:43 h UTC, during the take-off roll, the pilot felt a diversion to the right and loss of speed. At a speed of about 55 knots the pilot decided to abort the takeoff and attempt to stop the aircraft by pushing the brakes. However, the aircraft failed to stop within the runway. Subsequently it impacted the right main landing gear on a concrete pedestal located approximately 50 m from the threshold of Runway 25, nosed over and stopped in an oat field. As a result of the impact the aircraft received significant damages. The pilot and the four parachutists left the cockpit uninjured.
